ONLINE INTRODUCTION TO ZAZEN

 

For new Chosei Zen students, this interactive “crash course” introduces our style of Rinzai Zen seated meditation and hara breathing.

 

When:

  • First Sunday of the Month

  • In US: 10 - 11:30 am U.S. Central Time (CT), which is:

    • 11-12:30 am ET / 9-10:30 am MT / 8-9:30 am PT / 7-8:30 am AK time

  • In Europe: 4-5:30 pm GMT / 5-6:30 pm CET

  • In 2024: 2/4, 3/3, 4/7, 5/5, 6/2, 7/7, 8/4, 9/1, 10/6, 11/3, 12/1


Materials Recommended:

  • Yoga mat or large blanket

  • Cushion or firm pillow(s) to sit on

  • Room that is quiet or has a door to prevent distractions

  • Enough room to enable you to stand and swing your arms

  • Laptop, pad, or smart phone that allows video calls

  • Internet connection and ability to connect to Zoom
